I loved to read as a child, and that's continued through the years. As a child, my favorites, in no particular order, were:
- Little House on the Prairie series
- Nancy Drew mysteries (and the Hardy Boys, too!)
- Cherry Ames, student nurse (wow, haven't thought of those for years!)
As a preteen:
- The Hobbitt & Lord of the Rings trilogy
That (and the original Star Trek series on TV) gave me a long-term love of science fiction & fantasy:
- the Star Bridge series, by A.C. Crispen
- the Valdemar novels, by Mercedes Lackey
- Star Trek novels, especially "Uhura's Song"
